Integrasi Kearifan Lokal dalam Strategi Perlindungan Anak Guna Mendukung Capaian SDGs di Desa Tanjung Kesuma

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve public understanding of children’s rights and strengthen the integration of local wisdom into child protection strategies in Tanjung Kesuma Village. The program was carried out in five stages: socialization, legal awareness sessions, internalization, evaluation and monitoring, and sustainability. It involved the village government, community leaders, and children, using a local cultural approach so that child protection messages could be delivered persuasively and in line with community conditions. The program strengthened coordination among the service team, the village government, and the community in building a systematic and sustainable community-based child protection model. It also produced a scientific poster, an activity video, and a draft scientific article. The integration of local wisdom can increase community awareness and participation in creating a safe environment for children and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Tanjung Kesuma Village.
