This community service program aimed to improve road users’ visibility by installing reflective convex mirrors at accident-prone bends in Kelurahan Bakung. This article describes the implementation process and evaluates the program’s contribution to improving visibility and reducing accident risk during both day and night. A participatory action research approach was employed, involving field observation, the installation of reflective convex mirrors at identified hazard points, and semi-structured interviews with local residents. The results show that the mirrors helped road users detect oncoming vehicles and road conditions earlier, particularly at sharp bends, and improved night visibility by reflecting vehicle headlights in areas lacking street lighting. Resident interviews indicated a perceived reduction in accident risk at the previously hazardous bends. This program suggests that a simple, low-cost infrastructure intervention can contribute to traffic safety at the kelurahan level and serve as a replicable model for similar community service programs.
