Journal of Islamic Digital Economic and Finance (JIDEF) is committed to publishing high-quality scholarly research in the fields of Islamic digital economics, Islamic finance, financial technology, digital business, and related interdisciplinary studies. Following a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and a comprehensive editorial evaluation, a total of five manuscripts were selected for publication in this issue.
This issue was officially published online on 1 June 2026. The published articles were authored by 20 scholars affiliated with institutions across two countries, namely Indonesia and Australia. The contributing authors represent nine academic and research institutions: Universitas Darussalam Gontor; Universitas Islam Negeri Jurai Siwo Lampung; Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung; Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro; Institut Agama Islam Darul A'mal Lampung; Institut Agama Islam Negeri Sultan Amai Gorontalo; The University of Western Australia; Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Ma'arif Kalirejo; and Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung.
The Editorial Board expresses its sincere appreciation to all authors, reviewers, and editorial team members whose scholarly contributions and commitment have ensured the quality, integrity, and academic excellence of this publication. We hope that the studies published in this issue will contribute significantly to advancing knowledge, policy development, and scholarly discourse in Islamic digital economics, Islamic finance, financial technology, and related disciplines.
Journal of Islamic Digital Economic and Finance (JIDEF) is an academic publication that focuses on the analysis and development of economics and finance in the digital context with an Islamic perspective. The journal covers a wide range of topics, including the application of technology in Islamic banking, the understanding of Islamic finance, and the impact of the digital economy on Islamic business practices. The journal aims to be a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to share findings and innovative ideas that can strengthen the understanding and practice of the digital economy in accordance with sharia principles.
