Journal History
The Journal of Contemporary Applied Islamic Philanthropy (JCAIP) was established in 2023, marking the publication of its inaugural issue as a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research in Islamic philanthropy, Islamic economics, and related interdisciplinary fields. In the same year, the journal was officially assigned its Online ISSN (3025-5082), signifying its formal recognition as an academic publication.
Since its inception, JCAIP has maintained a consistent publication schedule while adhering to rigorous editorial and peer-review standards. The journal has engaged editors and reviewers from various countries, reflecting its commitment to international academic collaboration, research integrity, and publication excellence. Through a robust double-blind peer-review process, JCAIP continuously strives to publish high-quality, impactful, and internationally relevant research.
A major milestone was achieved in early 2026 when JCAIP was officially accredited as a SINTA 4 journal by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. This accreditation recognizes the journal's sustained commitment to editorial quality, scientific integrity, and compliance with national standards for scholarly publishing, positioning JCAIP as a reputable national scientific journal.
Building upon this achievement, JCAIP remains committed to strengthening its international visibility by enhancing editorial quality, expanding global research collaborations, increasing the diversity of international authors and reviewers, and pursuing inclusion in leading international indexing databases. Through continuous improvement and adherence to international publishing best practices, JCAIP aspires to become a globally recognized platform for high-quality research in contemporary Islamic philanthropy, Islamic economics, and sustainable socio-economic development.
