About the Journal

Journal of Contemporary Applied Islamic Philanthropy (JCAIP) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published twice a year (in June and December). JCAIP is a journal published by the Nuban Jagadhita Centre, Lampung, Indonesia. JCAIP provides a platform for ongoing discussion on relevant issues within the journal's focus and scope, which can be empirically examined. The journal publishes research articles on Islamic philanthropy covering contemporary zakat studies, contemporary infaq studies, contemporary shadaqah studies, and contemporary waqf studies. In addition, the themes of contemporary fiqh muamalah studies, contemporary sharia economics studies, and contemporary Islamic business ethics studies are also presented in this journal. We warmly invite all individuals who have an interest in the focus and scope of JCAIP to contribute to our publications.
